PROFILE

I am a freelance illustrator and author of children's books, currently living and working in Bern, Switzerland with my wife and two young children. Born and educated in England, I received an extensive education in Fine Art, Graphic Design and Illustration.

Since a small child, I have held a complete fascination for children's books and the way they are written and illustrated. Later, during my education, I was also fascinated by the print techniques used to make books and much of my earlier work was made using print as a medium. I have both written and illustrated many books for publishers such as Oxford University Press, Templar Publishers, Ragged Bears, Parragon Publishers etc. 

My aim is to try to access the wonderful world of dreams and the incredible imagination of children and create picture books that are inspired by these. As an Illustrator I also work for Advertising Companies and as a freelance lecturer for art classes.
